AMT jet pump

any AMT 309 owners in here ???

looking for some help

i went from the stock alum impellor to an AMT S.S A and shoulder wear ring front of imp. to shoulder is set at .028 and side of imp. to wearring is .013 per side total of .026

my problem now is a have to idle at 1300rpms to get a nuff water flow to cool motor with the alum i could idle at 700rpm

motor is a BBC 548ci

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,... Is the AMT a Berkeley design pump,..??

this is the pump AT 309 and i use a berkeley intake with loader shoe and ride plate 24in long
