Has anyone tried or know about the "KUS Analogue NMEA2000 Converter NKC42"?
I would like to get my analogue oil pressure and water temp gauges connected to my nmea2000 network. I have a carbed 2001 Mercruiser 5.0L Thunderbolt V engine in a Rinker 232cc. It seems that it should be able to connect up to four analogue gauges to nmea2000.

... so you will need 2 (oil pres and water temp)...

Not from what I'm reading...

The NKC42 converter converts analogue sensor data into NMEA2000 data. Can be used for: motor data, tank levels, pressure or temperature data from existing sensors into NMEA2000 networks. There is no power supply required, as the converter feeds from the power supply within the existing network.

The suitable voltage is 9 - 16 volts DC. Waterproof: IP67. Operating temperature: -30° C to +80° C.

You can connect up to four analogue sensors per converter.

Yes up to 4 sensors pr converter and oil pressure and coolant temp is specifically mentioned. Maybe i should just try it out. The price is okay (if it works). But do you know if the specs: Oil press(0~5Bar,10~185Ω) and Coolant temp (40~120℃,300~23Ω) match my Mercruisers sensors? And do you know if there are any problems to consider when I hook into and existing sensor cable? Thanks, i'll appreciate your time.

All Merc gauges use 240-33 senders. 5 Bar is 72psi. Merc oil pressure gauges read up to 80psi.... Temp gauge is also 240-33 indicating 120-240F (48-115C)

On the converter I believe the sensor inputs can be changed to suit the sender being used.

The inputs will be 'high impedance', so won't affect the gauges on the dash....
