Anode locations on 1972 Starcraft 140 hp I/O

Hi are there any other anode locations on 1972 Merc I/O s other than the transom bolts and the trim tab ? Is Magnesium the way to go in fresh water ? Thanks

altho your boat is a Starcraft, you'll probably find more answers on this one in the Mercruiser forum, but i think those are the main ones. some folks add anodes to their hull too but not necessary in fresh water. yes, i think magnesium is what they recommend for fresh. EDIT: just went to Martyr's web site (martyranodes.com) and that's correct....mag for fresh
