Dunked in Salt every trip every weekend
Wash and flush anything that touches salt after each trip.

I'm going over my drive and now going through the Anodes and Mercathode System.

I went to the local boat part store and they gave me quicksilver 806189Q 1. On the back of the box it says fits Gen II (read it after I left). Will this work for my purpose? Also, read today on iboats that salt boats should have zinc anodes.

What does everyone think?

You need the right kit, the Gen II kit has anodes the Gen I doesn't

Merc doesn't use zinc anodes at all anymore (YEARS) only aluminum in salt water.
