Another 5hp Gamefisher q.

The serial on the transom mount looks like it says 68009384. I cant seem to find anthing on that. The cowl says it's a 5hp Gamefisher, I've replaced the plug, cleaned the points, cleaned the carb 3 times, and I can get it to idle, but it surges. My questions are, what year is this thing, and where might i get a carbrebuild kit?

As a somewhat more unusual question what other carbs, if any can I stick on this thing?

The model number will be more helpful. 217-XXXXX
It's probably an Eska built motor.Aircooled Tecumseh powerhead with a water cooled exhaust leg.You may find parts info at sears.com.
Certified parts corp may have parts.A service manual may help.
These motors vibrate are noisy,underrpowered and finicky.In my opinion not worth a huge investment in time or money.If you like to tinker this is the motor for you.
