Another Boston Whaler Rage Question

I live in an area of shallow water bayous in west central Florida. I am considering a Rage so I can get into the shallows without banging a propeller. My question is, how do these boats cope with being kept in the water? I do not have a lift and would bottom paint the boat. The water I am in is brackish. Thank you for reading.

I don't know that you want a rage, or a jet for that matter, with all the seagrass to get sucked in, in SW FL. The BW rage have a rep for overheating.

I will be able to get it to the dock. My concern is leaving it in the water all the time. I will bottom paint it but what about the jet pump hardware?

Just keep the linkage lubed well with triple guard and you will be fine. Just read a post about Tdaddy hitting a gator with his outboard something you will not have to fear by having a jet. Sea grass can be a pain but you can gain alot of relief by having a good raw water strainer installed to prevent getting any inside the motor.
