There is no evidence of that except your opinion that $20K is too cheap. You might be sticking your neck into a libel suit.

I sent a fraud alert. Since ebay covers fraudulent vehicle transactions up to $20K, how much you wanna bet they actually pay attention to this? These scams are starting to show up on Craig's list too. It doesn't cost anything to list 100s of these and you only need one sucker . . . :|

Right, QC. I would report it for investigation, but I would not publish a direct accusation of fraud. Should the auction be legit that would be libel.

Does the phrase, "Innocent until proven guilty" ring a bell?

Not sure about the evaluation but the seller does accept "cash in person". No mention of Western Union.

Whew, vindication . . . I was sweatin' that libel suit. In all honestly, I am concerned that one of these I peg as a scam will be real. Not 'cause of libel, but if I pass up a deal like that, I'd probably shoot myself . . . :%

Naw buddy, I'm the busy one. Ebay pulled the listing. The guy did have 4 other boats listed, all '06 models. I was gonna set it up to go look at them this weekend while Christmas shopping. Its true that the seller didn't take cash but never got any further than that.
