Another engine age question....

Sorry guys,
Could anyone tell me the year of my outboard, or how to find out?
It is a 25hp and says on the bracket "695 S 029815".

Sorry, I should have said it is a Mariner.
It is a short shaft, grey with three stripes on the side, dark red, light red, and orange. Hope that helps.
