How do you remove the oil dip stick tube from a mid-80's Ford 302 block? Is it pressed in? Threaded? Thanks

Are you talking about an auto engine? Where is the dipstick located?

Yes the casting is E8TE, so it's a 1987 Truck 302 block. It's what PleasureCraft used in 1988. The dipstick is by the 3rd core plug on what would be the driverside if in a car or truck.
