Well ladies and gentleman, this is my boat (see pic). Its 21 years old and the paint is showing it. Scuffs, scratches and chips adorn my hull. What I would like to do is repaint everything except for the white bottom. I dont like the ugly black/red/white combo and would like to do a black/white scheme instead.
What I'd like to know from the marine-inclined folks on here is basically how do I do this? What kind of materials do I need and what are the steps to complete the project. What paints work best, do I need primer, whats the best way to apply it ect ect..... I don't want just a flat black either, I would like the paint with the metalic flakes (not sure on technical term).
Can anybody lend some pointers please? Thanks everyone!
