I'll start by saying thank you in advance and I have learned tons here in the past 3 weeks of reading and researching this forum. I do have questions though: What year is my 8M (you knew that was coming), Help me fix my stuck kill switch? I'll try to post a pic of the last tonight if possible.
This is my first "real" outboard. I say that because the Johnson 4hp I've been using seems like a toy or a suped up weedeater compared to this motor.
My serial #677S054865 it does have the Japan plate so I'm assuming it's a Yamaha. I've searched every link to find the year.
