Another...oil topic

Hi to all, i hope not to annoy anybody but this is a topic that seem to have been discused on every forum , so here it is ; why is it that i'm having dificulty finding a motor oil and gear oil in synthetic ....?, so far the only one that (i hope to be able to buy it locally) seem to be more visible is Amsoil stuff. I'm not crazy about the hype that Amsoil does...blah,blah,blah the best oil ..., but they are the "only" ones that seem to have (at least listed on their site ) SAE 10W30 ,4 stroke Marine synthetic motor oil and synthetic Marine gear lube SAE 75w/80w-90 ....you see i live up here in the North ,western Canada and unless somebody can direct me to another product i may just get Amsoil stuff...any sugestions and i hope nobody will curse whille reading this....

Hi guys.......
After spending some time to find out what's really best for my little motor i decided that i will try Red Line Synthetic 10W30 that can be used in marine applications and for the gear part i'll go Red Line as well in Synthetic 75W90 that meets Honda's hypoid needs. The other oil i was looking at is by dare i say,dare i ....? Amsoil, one thing i don't like about them is the fact that they call themselfes "worlds best oil"...the way i see it if you are the best you don't have to tell people that,they would know...Anyways,any comments...?
p.s. Amsoil is not even close to beeing the best out there...hype,only hype.
