Another power trim leak down problem?

Hi

I have a 2002 50HP Johnson 4-stroke (DF50 Suzie) that has a leak down problem. I have replaced the o'rings and seal and that hasn't helped. Could the problem be a bad down pressure valve? This is the Showa system and I am a long way from parts as I have to order everything, so would like to solve the problem as the O'ring kit didn't.

I didn't replace the up pressure valve or any of the valve's. I have actually been using all Suzuki parts as they are easier for me to obtain and cheaper. The Suzuki dealer is 30 minutes away and the Omc dealer is 1.5 hours away. I do have the Johnson manual P/N 5005469. I will order the up pressure valve and try that route.
