I always think of what could go wrong🤔 On the gxi remote oil filter factory system Is the oil bypass valve on the small block chevy remove from the filter mount where the remote adapter is or is one incorporated in the remote system?? The reason I ask if the remote oil lines should get reverse to the remote filter head and thus oil flow is reverse backwards thru the oil filter and creates an oil flow blockage due to the anti siphon valve in filter . Or in a very rare case which I never seen an oil filter failure which results in a blockage. I replaced my remote oil filter mount on the riser due to a broken mounting ear flange and of course had to unconnected and reconnect lines . I was called away for a few hours and return to finish and staring at me were two lines with no identiation which was inlet and outlet . Some good folks here told me in another post how to identifify the inlet and outlet lines,. BUT if by some chance I reconnected the lines backwards and block oil flow is there an oil bypass valve to at least let unfilter oil go the engine internals ??

All depends if your using a filter with ah anti drain back valve (check valve). The best case is to make sure and not hook it up backwards.
