Hi All,
I've read the how-to thread and understand how the shift interrupt works. I have also searched for an answer to this question without success.

I can shift into forward and out without problems, I can shift into reverse without problems. My problem is that sometimes (only sometimes) it seems to want to stay in reverse. It's not that there's any resistance to shifting out, it's really smooth, it's just that sometimes when the shifter gets to the neutral position it needs a small nudge to get it out of gear. Not much, just a small bit of pressure does it. I just want to get it across that I don't have to force the lever at all, just as much push as would be required to move an empty cup on a table.... am I making sense LOL.

I'm tempted to try to adjust it out at the upper cable but I just wanted to get opinions here first.

Cheers
Steve.

Sounds like the cable might be slightly out of adjustment...

It may be your cable, but if its not a big deal be careful making any big changes without being alble to remember where it was set, its easy to make this little thing into one of those "awww crap" moments. I had one that was just like that so I tried to adjust it to make it perfect..... 2 hrs later I was extreemly happy to get it back to where I started, and then I left it there. Good luck.

We discovered , that a lil bit of lubracation, goes a long way when dealing with shifting.
Throttle, shift, bunches of linkage assemblies, all have to move and line up, every time you push/pull that one lever. From cables, pivots, rollers and springs, they all need a drop of lube from time to time.
Try this first, BEFORE you start turning adjustment wheels.
