Another Tilt / Trim issue

I have a 200 Hp Mariner. I recently replaced the trim unit as part of a rebuild project on my boat. The first problem I had was that the tilt/trim switch on my shifter was not providing enough power to tilt the motor. I went with a seperate switch and it seems that this problem is corrected. I can now til the moto all the way up or down. I now have a new problem. The motor will not stay trimmed up while running. Where can I start in diagnosing the cause for this problem? Your expertise is appreciated.

I find that troubleshooting trim systems can be difficult and complex at times. The below guides may be helpful. They are from my Merc 150 V6 shop manual, but they may apply to your trim system too.
