Ya know, though I am guilty of more that a few stupid human tricks , 9 out of 10 times is because something distracted me from my routine.

I gotta pay more attention after interruptions.

Things like that can be so easily done, especially if you get distracted during your "routine" and double checking.

Re: Another trailer story

Another part of that sad story is it cost the owner 500 bucks to get the marina pontoon winch boat to pull it up. When they got it over to the boat ramp he hooked his truck onto it and was rather upset. He burnt out the truck in 4 wheel drive and the boat filled with water came out in the blink of an eye. His trailer buckled in the center from all the weight and he was unable to go anywhere. We all helped him get the rig out of the way, and were thankful that it wasn't us that this happened to.

Re: Another trailer story

When we were younger my dad let my brother take the boat. Well it was him me and a couple of his girlfriends. He hooked up the trailer and jumped into dad's station wagon. We called it the wilder beast, 1972 Dodge. Well we pulled off the drove way took the curb with a bump and my brother was off down the street. Trailer popped off the ball and starts dragging by chains. Each time my brother hit the brakes the trailer smashed into the back door of the station wagon.

Trailer hit the back door at least three times before he finally stopped. It dented the heck out of it. Needless to say I was the new favorite son after dad found out!:D
