When I dropped the LU (and let me tell you, those fasteners were good and solidly corroded in there, what fun that was.) The two plastic water tube guides were missing.

Should I bother tracking down replacements? Seems like these just make putting it all back together that much easier. But not havign them doesn't seem harder than say, an hour round trip to the OMC dealer.

Look up on the water tubes in the mid-section. They may be there.

Use a little gasket sealing compound on those tubes mate. Makes them stay in the holes betterer.

Seems like a very reasonable solution to wandering guide tubes.

I'm all about betterer stayingnessibility.

I don't think you can really use it w/o the betterer in front of it. Or, for that matter:

"More betterer stayingnessibility"

Yes, now that I see it, I'm sure that's the proper phrase.

If google is a verb, stayingnessibility should definitely qualify all of the variabilitiy, and then some, plus a few, etc.
