Another way round it?

Hi ya All, although I have posted a few times on the forum I have been unable to discover the exact age of my Johnson 70hp VRO as I only have the serial number. I believe it is circa 1990. I am sure someone will put me right, but I need to purhase a manual for this engine and from what I can see the good manuals end and start at 1990. The problem is which manual is my engine in?. I am hoping to get down to the boat on Saturday and would like to ask you good people that if I took some pictures of the engine from all angles maybe someone could help me with dating it.<br />Cheers.

There was a thread yesterday in the John/Ev forum about finding info with just a serial number. Poster called BRP customer service and got it.
