Another Whaler Question?

I have a older 11' Boston Whaler Skiff and its time to replace the wood. i also want to put a bench seat(none right now) my question is how wide should the bench be? I picked up some nice mahogany boards 1"x12"x8'
Does anybody know what sz. the BW co. used when making the bench seats?
