ANOTHER "what is this motor" question

I saw an ad on e-bay for an 1985 bowrider and it says it's a mercruiser motor and drive but all it says is it's a 200 HP motor.

The auction is through a charity organization so there is no way contacting them about it.

Would this be a 4.3 motor?

and would it also be the alpha one gen one drive?

I'm sure it would be a project boat but I need a winter project.....

Probably a 5.0L Chevy with an MR or Alpha I drive on it. The V6 of that era were usually in the 175 to 185 hp range, except for the LX, which was rated at 205.

Of course, we are assuming that the "200 hp" is correct.

If you are talking about the boat I think you are(brown interior, white shorelander trailer and torn cover), then at least can bid without fear. If you win you will have an opportunity to inspect it before agreeing to purchase.

That's the one I'm asking about.....
I have a 3.0 now and am ready to move up to a v-6 or v-8, plus this boat is not far from me at all. Would definitely have to change some of the brown interior though.
