Nordicstar, 230 deck boat 5.0 i/o merc. I have a ss 17p 3 blade. I would like to buy a second. my most common use will be very slow motoring around the harbor (newport calif) my goal is, smooth running vibration free, easy docking control, quick responce, quick to plan. for the new prop im not concerned about effecincy or top speed. i assume that if I want speed and effecency Ill use my existing 3blade 17p ss. So what should the new prop be 3 or 4 prop and pitch?
