Ok, I am building a rescue/dive boat, it is 24' tri-toon. I was just given what i think is a 72 Mercury Inline 6 115. Whats the best prop for us? Thanks for any help!
That motor is rated for 115 at the powerhead and is only about 90hp at the prop. It is probably too small to get a 24 footer on plane unless it is very light. I would try to find the lowest pitch possible. Probably a 15 pitch or even a 13 if you can find one.
