Another Winterizing Question

I live in Central Va. and keep my Pontoon boat on fairly large lake. Our winters can be very cold (occasional bursts in the 'teens) or very mild and would run the boat when I can.

What are the cons in leaving my boat in the water all winter long? This lake has never frozen over.

If I do take her out and "winterize" can someone point me to a good link or post? Any concerns with winterizing with 10% Ethanol in the tank?

Usually the risk is less if the boat is left in the water. Sterndrive or outboard?
