Re: anti-fouling paint on aluminum
welcome to iboats. I would advise against using anti-fouling paint on an alluminum hull regardless of primers and prep. Reason being the dissimular metals thing. Electrolysis (SP?)will devour the hull. It will actually create a large aluminum/Copper/Alyline battery.<br />I've heard of the military using a special aluminum coating to slow-down fouling on thier ACB hulls, but don't know what it is called,or if it is available in the open market.
