I've got a boat with it's bottom coated in what looks like several layers of anti-fouling paint. Whoever put this on should be kicked in the sack. Looks like they rolled it over the algae. I'm thinking paint remover you apply with a brush. Anyone know of a good paint remover that won't harm the gel coat under the antifoul paint?

There's my laugh for the night! Thanks :). My choice is Aqua strip.. It's water based and doesn't harm the gel at all. Works pretty well if you let it sit roughly 8 hours or so. scrape off with a putty knife (make sure there is a plastic tarp to catch the stuff). Bottom paint is nasty stuff, if you do any sanding make sure to have a good respirator (NOT the paper kind), tyvek suit, gloves and goggles.. Good luck. Haven't ever tried the peel away stuff in your link..
