Mine is on the fuel tank between pickup hose and tank. Under the floor??? Are you sure it is bad??<br />I had a week fuel pump that would only empty the tank to 1/2 mark. I was thinking anti siphon or pick tube with a pin hole in the side. Changed both of them then found out it was the pump. How foolish i felt after all that work. Also make sure a mud dobber hasn't clogged up your vent this will also keep the pump from picking up fuel after running for a short spell. Maybe with more information someone can give you your pump specfication so you can check suction side. hope this helps

I've read several references about anti-siphon valves in threads regarding intermittent fuel problems throughout this forum, but a search does not turn up anything under the term "anti-siphon valve". <br /> <br />So I figured it would improve the board to have information about this little gremlin for folks who wanted to search/know more about it (like me). I think this is exactly the type of unusual problem that could really frustrate the heck out of someone. It would be nice to have a succinct answer for guys to search on forever more. Perhaps someone could post a way to check / eliminate it from a diagnostic point of view too, or add a picture of one, or perhaps post a link on where to get one.<br /><br />BP212
