antifouling paint

i painted the bottom of my boat with anitfouling paint. my question is do i need to do the same to the motor its an outboard. this year the boat will be in the water for alittle over a week. and im hoping next year it will be all season.

I would not Brian...

just make sure you have the correct anodes on the thing.

im in michigan. do i still need anodes if im in fresh water i thought those thing were for saltwater.

Unless you think there is no "current" in the water ..

Absolutely ..

Is there a place for you to put a " freshwater" anode on it ? ( there is a diff between freash and salt anodes btw )

If so..put it on m8..
