Antique Evinrude Year

Everytime someone asks "what year is my motor?" I always think about how finding that out is as easy as going to the FAQ section. While, here I am asking that question on an outboard I just picked up which predates the the formula used on more recent serial numbers. This previous owner said it is a 1935 1 1/2 hp Evinrude. The serial number is 4254-01319. Would anyone know where I can find the year, hp and model based on that info. Or, would anyone be able to identify it? The motor runs, but I would just like to clean it up and hang it on the wall in my shop.
