Im looking for any 270 SC owners to talk about parts and questions about windlass
I am about to become a 270 sc owner, 1998, Im picking it up with trailer for 12000.00 Tuesday of this coming week.
I would appriciate any input on what to look for (watch out for ) before putting the money in the existing owners hands?
it has a 5.7 efi motor, trim tabs, mercruiser outdrive, counter rotation prop. boat looks really clean and is on a trailer with brakes. one owner, and never been in the ocean. every thing works.
How does that counter rotation drive hold up in salt water? and how many hours would you say it would start to need a long block ?
Just curiouse.
