Any experience with Suncruiser SD194 or SD190

I was wondering if anyone owned the Lowe Suncruiser SD194 or SD190 sun deck boat. It looks like a nice upgrade to my current boat. I would like it for boating with smaller kids as well as young adults. I also want to use it for towing a 2 person tube or water skiing. Finally, I would like to know if its a boat that is easily trailered since I would be trailering it after every trip. I currently have a 15' larson bowride so this is quite a bit longer and I may have unrealistic expectations. Thanks in advance.

Make sure your tow vehicle can handle the higher load.

I'm surprised I can't find anyone who has a review on it or anything. I wonder how many have actually been sold.

I own a 2002 SD220, I would highly suggest checking out the hull where the stress straps come up the port and starboard sides.
Mine has stress cracks which were in the process of repairing. Do I think its Lowe's fault, NO I believe the previous owner knew of the issues and was trying to flip the boat before the issues appeard for them to repair. So I blame myself.

When taking it for a test ride, be aware of the level of the boat when passengers move between the port and starboard side. If there is a noticeable differance, I would check the hull closely. keep an eye on the bildge also.

We love the boat, holds 12 max, would I buy another one? Yes.... but not from a previous owner. Buyer Beware :)

We are on our second Tahiti...this is the most versatile boat ever! We use it to go out on the lake and just ride...but it also fishes really well! The trolling motor has a wireless fob so the operator doesnt have to be tethered to the front of the boat all the time! LOVE this boat!!!! And we kneeboard, ski, and just have a great time in our Tahiti!

Hey thanks for the feedback. You are the only one that I know of with previous experience. Two questions if you don't mind.
1. how stable is it when people move left to right, does it lean to one side alot if people are distributed properly?
2. how does it go over waves, does it cut through them fairly well or ride up and slam dowm on them? I have a larson fiberglass 15' and a 24' pontoon boat. I am after closer to the larson than the pontoon boat when it comes to turning and going through waves.
3. how well does it turn and can you pull tubes using the tow bar?
4. isn't the hull guaranteed for the life of the boat? Will Lowe repair it?

OK that was way more than 2 questions. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize this boat was previously named the Tahiti until I looked at a boat for sale. I guess I have the same questions as I asked LTUSN

1. My experience is that it tends to list to Port if not properly distributed, which I try to distribute the weight as evenly as possible.
2. Cuts through the waves fine, no slamming if you keep a watchfull eye on the waves.
3. Turning and pulling tubes are fine.
4. NO, According to Lowe's there was a 10 year limited warranty on the Hull for the 2002's if you were the original owner. I am the third owner and Lowe hasn't done anything for, even after repeated plea's for assistance.

This Winter I am replacing the Vinyl, Carpeting, fuel hoses, and Live Well line.
I will reach out to Lowe one more time when I get the deck removed to see if their is any structural fatigue that needs to be repaired.

We love the boat, just not the issues.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have purchased a Mariah. I had a 185 as my first boat and had NO issues with it at all. The reason we sold it, we wanted a larger boat.

If you still looking at the Lowe Deck Boat, go with the 22', the 19' is too small and make sure you get a 4 Stroke. Mine is a 2 Stroke, and needless to say, it burns fuel.
