Any gasket sealant on Cobra gasket or not ?

Sierra gasket on my Cobra.
I know manual calls for it, but talked to a local shop guy,,,,,claims that the newer gasket had been changed, sealant is no longer necessary.
What do U OMC guys think?

While the older OEM manuals showed to use sealer, the newer (JV Model) didn't use sealer on the gasket.

Yup, your manual looks a bit different than the one I got.
struggled a bit because of no hoist or dolly, but it's in now.
