Any good vids or tutorials on replacing LU seals on my 1989 25hp Johnson 2stroke?

Anyone know of a good vid or tutorial on changing the lower unit seals on my 1989 Johnson 25hp 2-stroke? Water got in and broke the bottom split gearcase skeg piece. I've never worked on a lower unit so don't want to get into it before I make myself more informed. Found several on youtube for other motors but not mine. Thanks for any help --

??_---That lower unit style was made from the early 1950's to the latest offering.-----I believe there are lots of videos on how to work on that simple unit.

I agree with racerone. Expand your search to include earlier years.
I found a video for an '84 25hp Johnson with a split gear case like yours.

The 28 hp motor has the same lower unit as yours. Yours is kind of an oddball as most 25s that year have the through hub exhaust lower unit.

Model # should always be posted.----Many times folks are not sure what year motor they have.

Thanks for the links and guidance, everyone -- I will now proceed with the repair :apathy:, and I will have my welder use your solution to fix the crack, racerone. If it doesn't hold or work, I'll get a used LU housing instead. I appreciate the help -- Harold
