Any help will appreciataed 1962 evinrude 18hp

I have a 1962 evinrude 18 hp motor and it needs points. Will the sierra 18-5002 tune-up kit work? I believe the sierra is a not a 100 percent copy of the points that are in my engine. Does anyone know if kit 18-5002 should fit and run in my motor.
