any idea on price? 110 vro

I have a center console old! pro line with a 1988 johnson 110 vro. the engine is in really good condition but the deck needs replacing on the boat. I paid $1500.00 for boat trailer and engine. i dont have time to fix the deck and wonder if i may get my money back by selling the engine. Does any one have any idea how much the engine may be worth or a quick fix for the deck?<br />or can you tell me a web site where i can find a price.<br />thank you in advance

You can get pricing info from Boat Trader magazine available at most convenience stores. <br /><br />There is no "quick fix" for the deck. It is not a huge job if the problem is limited to just the deck. The job gets bigger quickly if the stringers and transom need to be replaced. It can be a very worthwhile project if you can come up with the time. Check out the boat restoration section.

if you have a good engine i would take some time out and replace the deck.strip it and put down a new deck.then you can be proud at the dock knowing that you restored your own boat.but that is just me.(my wife would not let me buy a new one).good luck
