I have a 1976 25 foot cruisers bar harbor with a 235hp OMC, and have a couple of prop questions. The prop that is on it has Michigan 122 stamped on the hub, I am assuming that it is a Michigan wheel prop but I don't know the pitch. At wide open throttle I am doing 38mph and 3700 rpms. My issue is that at higher speeds it is VERY hard to turn to the left but VERY easy to turn to the right. I am thinking that this is due to prop torque? At low speeds it is equil in both directions. I have adjusted the trim tab to no avial. If this is a prop torque issue is it normal if not what should I run for a prop? Thanks

Re: any ideas

The prop size is probably under the prop nut.We will need the prop size and the gear ratio, probably on the I/O. more details on the bar harbor.38 seems respectable rpms may be suspect seem low to me.perhaps a tach issue.Describe the overall performance.
