Re: Any Info on Charger Boats and Battery Chargers

sounds like you have a plug at the bow of the boat that a charger can be plugged into. this plug is proberly also used for the trolling motor and has a switch nearby that says something like 12vdc charge / 12vdc / 24vdc. this was a old school way to charge the trolling batteries and required you to remove the croc clips of a charger and fit a plug like the one on the trolling motor. if $160-$200 is with in your budget go with a 3 bank charger. if thats to much then buy a cheap charger and just install a trolling plug on the end (wire charger to 12vdc pins not the 24v dc pins). read the cautions that come with the boat as any miss-wiring creates smoke which is why no one likes to advise people to use the switch on a boat that may have been messed with (this will not recharge the starter battery).
