They seem to be good quality with the new manufacturing process. I looked at a 1700 with a 70 Yamaha engine. It is wide. I like that. Any experiences or opinions?

Thanks,

The "new" manufacturing process is at least 10 years old now. Tupperware boats. Made out of formed plastic.
Their claim to fame was they bend but don't break and you can make sand out any scratches. People either love them or hate them. Only you can decided that

I have Tupperware too and it floats! They look great. I love how wide they are. Seem stable too.

Thanks...

My parents have a 195DC with a yam 150 and they like it. Low maintenance (don't even try to wax it, it's not worth it), fairly indestructable (search around for the florida coast guard video of them dropping one from a helicopter into the water), and very stable. If there was a down side, they are lighter, and ride rougher than other comparable glass boats (Grady White, Whaler, etc).
