Any Issues with the 2002 Evinrude 90hp Fict?

I'm am considering buying a 17' Boston Whaler Montock with a 2002 Evinrude 90hp Fict. The boats in great shape, and the motor only has 20 hrs on it. <br /><br />I know that the larger fict's have had a lot of problems, and I'm wondering if any of them are common on the 2002 90 aswell?

I take it that this is a good motor then <br /><br />I'm going to look at it tomorrow morning.<br />My friend warned me about the ficts, he said that he's heard a few horror stories, but didn't mention what size those motors were.

The horror stories were from the 1998-99 FICHTS of 150 and 175hp. The other sizes and years worked OK.<br /><br />The 2002 and later engines were made by Bombardier and have a great reputation for durability.
