any massachussetts striper fisherman out there?

been going out alot lately in the morning and night and not coming up with much. using chunk bait. any help in the boston harbor area welcome<br />p.s. fishing from 18' boat

Hi MS<br /><br />When everything else fails on stripers, try live eels. The bass live them and the bluefish do too. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Don't know aabout up north but here on the Chesapeake Bay we grind menhaden baitfish and use it for chum. Put a little overboard and let it drift behind you. The use a big hunk of it for bait on an unweighted hook. Let it drift back into the oil slick that forms, sit back and wait for the fun.
