I have a 92 rinker 235. The current bimini doesnt cover enough of the windshield area so mid day and afternoon sun kills anything on the dash as well as me at the helm. Its not long enough to keep much in the back shaded either as sevreral feet foward of the transom is exposed where we fish/keep coolers and what not.

the plan is to move the current bimini top forward to cover more of the dash. Its tall enough where i can still step over the windshield to access the front deck to drop anchor. My windshield middle class doesn't open however being 6ft 2 and grip tape one either side of windshield is little to no issue. In 15 years ill be less limber and may mod the windshield at that time.

With the current bimini moved forward id like to add a second bimini aft, would be nice for them to attach in case of rain but isn't a requirement. My current top has a zipper for adding on
a full camper enclosure is too hot for the South Carolina heat, air circulation is a must so i dont want any thing between the top of my forward bimni and my windshield. We dont boat in winter, so it's a summer time only boat. We dont have much of a spring or fall here. Its pretty much hot from may until October.
If you are runnung double tops on your cabin cruiser or cabin boat, even cuddy cabin please post them up.

Don't have a CC but why not. Only 2 things I see as potential problems: High speed whipping them and stowing when not in use. Both aren't problems, just need your attention at the time. Maybe you want them of different heights so that they overlap. If you can't find what you want go to a canvas shop and have them make a custom unit. I had a Bass Boat and wanted one with SS bows; none were available, so I did. Only thing there was that SS vs Alum. is really heavy....but stout.....course I never tore up one with Alum. bows. Just thought the speed of the boat would require more rigidity running at a good clip with it up. Go for it.
