Any Pre-disassembly advice?

I am about to drop the lower unit on a 89 force 35 (357F9A) to change the impeller and the seals.

I have the parts catalog and diagrams to follow, but both the clymer and the seloc manuals are not very specific to this motor.

Does anyone know of any disaster waiting to happen during this proceedure with this particular model?

Any tricks or recommendations?

Are there any links to posts about changing the impeller on the 2 CYLINDER FORCE MOTORS?

Thanks for any help!

The lower unit may be heavier than it looks. If you lower the unit with the motor at an angle, be ready with some kind of brace or cradle to support it. Give yourself plenty of room rearward if you are working in the garage. That driveshaft is longer than you think. I learned the hard way changing the impeller on my 85. The 35 should be easier.
