Thinking about buying an Express S.S. prop (14.25 x 21P)with the interchangeable MasterGuard Hub System for a 200hp Johnson on a Kenner C.C. 21V. I would like to know if there are any problems with this interchangeable prop system?

I just bought one. It seems fine. It comes with a new thrust washer. It seems that the hub takes up more room than the oe prop and probably doesn't let the exhaust flow through as easily. Probably doesn't matter.

Only problem is if you don't buy one of their new 2005 models with the redesigned hub. Turningpoint just up and discontinued manufacturing their prior model with the release of the new one leaving their retailers and those of us with the prior model high and dry as the new prop housings will not fit on the prior model hubs. So much for having one hub and the ability to change the housing cheaply when needed or desired. That is why I bought one in the first place. Leaves one wondering if they invest in Turningpoint's 2005 model what might happen in 2006?

This must the one hell of an own goal?
Why don't the consumer complain? Afterall it's their money they are spending, they can simply choose NOT to spend it with Turningpoint.

Even Microsoft diddn't dare to withdraw support for 95 once 98 was out, nor 98 once ME was out? They only withdrew support for 95 around 2000.

Exactly, khc. I did write to Boaters World where I bought from about this. Their response is that they will not be carrying Turningpoint's props any longer. Seems so as they have just about sold out there inventory on their site and my local store has little of them left.
