Any rituals for moving the name on a boat?

I would hate to anger the sea gods this late in the year.

Put in a livewell pump out and the only place I could put the outlet was right through my old name so I had to peel it and am going to put it back on the other side of the boat, anything I need to do to appease the gods?

Name is staying the same just the location is changing.

Side note, apparently if you put the outlet lower than the water level it siphons the tank out, now I know.

The gods only get angry if you change the name of the boat. They don't seem to care where it is on the hull. BTW, what is a "goshen". My Grandmother used to say " land o' goshen!" when she was surprised.

You'll need to do some incantations and dance around the camp fire on one leg while shaking a brown bag containing 3 chicken leg bones.
Other than that, they will pay you no mind.

Goshen is a town in Northern Indiana that is 40 miles due east of the University of Notre Dame

Are you sure they still consider Notre Dame a university?

Side note: Starcraft boats used to be made in Goshen Indiana. Now they are made in Topeka, Indiana just a little further east of Goshen.

Incidently, Goshen is a district in northeastern Egypt reportedly occupied by the Hebrew peoples during Old Testament times according to the books of Genesis and Exodus.
