Any special considerations on removing ECM

I need to remove the ecm for a 2014 4.3 MPI to get access to the dizzy cap and rotor to change them. Just remove power and unhook all connections? Will the boat run rough when everything is hooked back up like a car until it relearns everything?

Yes. And 'ground' yourself before you remove the unit, don't touch any pins.
