Now getting into web page building using Golive and now Dreamweaver.

I can't seem to get the background color of the graphic to exactly match the page background test color (#669933), when viewed on certain monitors. The difference leaves a noticable "box" between the two color tints.

It is not detectable on my developement monitor, as the colors match perfectly. You may not notice it either.
Test web page

Can anyone help or suggest a different way to blend the 3 colored picts onto a colored page background?

Thanks

Hi Marty. I see the same problem on my computer, it appears that the 3 pictures are set in a box and then placed on the background. The greens have different tints. When I go direct to your picture properties web site I don't see the background, just the pictures in the box. Is it possible to expand the picture box to fill the screen and eliminate the background? 73's Ken

Thanks slowly.

Actually, the lighter green is the backbackground.

I just can't figure out why it looks fine on somel monitors and not others (including your's).

It's the same color.

If I had to guess, it has to do with the color settings of the monitor viewing the page (e.g., 256 colors Vs 16M Vs 32M) vary you settings and see of it shows up/ goes away based on monitor settings

I'm no guru but using my TFT matrix display the color appears the same but viewed vary carfully you can make out the box. Could it be due variences in the fill density or fill patern.
