Hi, Starboard nav light (green) went out last night. I am 1 hour from the boat. I neglected to check how to change the light before I left the boat.... Is this as simple as unscrewing some screws and putting in a new bulb or does the whole fixture have to be changed out? Any advice appreciated as I want to have the parts with me before I return to the boat.

Thanks,

Funny you ask. Mine is out too. 3 philips screws, pull off the top cover, the green lens comes out too. Bulb is press and screw type, sorry I don't have the part #. (mine is not blown, contacts are sketchy, need a cleaning)

Awesome thanks for the info. This bulb has lasted a long time. Now I just need to make sure I dont drop the green lens in the water when trying to replace the bulb! I am glad to know it is an easy fix. Thanks for such a speedy response.

So do you run both fridges all the time? I put a big block of ice in the 2nd rear fridge and dont run it on the 12 volt. I do leave the port side fridge on 12 volt when i am away from the dock. It would be interesting to one day find out how long my batteries last running both fridges on 12 volt for the weekend. I never tried.

I have a large 4D battery for my house. Though I've only had the boat for a month, I can get a weekend out of the battery running the fridges, lights, radio etc. And still have power to start the engines if I need (Forgot to switch to the starting batteries). If I were to go on the hook for 4+ days, I may consider your method with ice, or bring a cooler and only run one fridge. Its nice to have a fridge dedicated to food, and the other for drinks.
