Anybody use LED bulbs?

3W vs. 25 for a regular bulb. Anybody tried them for anchor lights or know of a better source and price??

I've been thinking about them too. A regular nav light is less than 10w not 25, so that's not such a great motivation. Rather, I think having a totally encapsulated light would be a great benefit for reliability.

Hopefully the price will first come down to the realm of the reasonable. Wishful thinking for a nifty bit of boat kit though eh?

i bought the bicycle front and rear for the grand kids. so impressed i got a set and mounted them on the center console rail as emergency lights. at night when they are flashing you can't miss them. they will get attention.

That light bar might be nice to mount in the bilge for extra light at night, but for that price there is other options
