I'm looking to build a "skelton" over my 85 Bayliner Capri open bow 16' so that I can drape a tarp over it or even cut and sew a nicer cover. I figured I could use plumbing pipe or electrical conduit. Make it in sections so that it could be removed and stored. Bolt it to the boat at the dock tie down hooks. Make legs that rest on the deck of the boat for support.

I store my boat on the side yard, out in the open. The tarps are just too much of a hassle.

Anyone done this?

Thanks! I diddnt know those existed. I'd proably spend just as much making my own. I just hope the PVC is rigid enough to support the wind and what not.
