Anyone converted a B&S to stick steer?

No, I am not planning on getting a B&S four stroke, nor do I have one, but I might have something up my sleeve. If someone has done this to theirs, I would love to see some pictures. It won't just hook right up to a set of controls obviously, but I think I could make something work.....

I shoulda been a little more specific. It isn't the steering that would be the problem, as this motor has the bar on the front with the hole for the steering cable. But, it would be the controls/shifting. The shifter has a little safety on it, where you have to pull it outward before shifting into gear. Also, the throttle cable is a push pull cable on the starboard side.

Well, I don't know about that, but I've been wondering if there was any way to convert a B&S outboard into a string trimmer or lawnmower.

Wife says she saw a string trimmer powering a bike and trimmer still had the handle on it.
